After five long weeks, Matt finally got back from his TDY in Vegas. On Friday night, the girls and I met Matt at the jet shortly after he landed. It was SO awesome to watch him climb down from the jet AND THEN watch as Audrey ran into his arms. (And, yes, I also ran into his arms for a kiss of my own!) Matt has barely had a moment to himself since he returned. Audrey wants Daddy's attention, and Claire just wants to cuddle. Matt has a big check ride (test) this week, and he attempted to study at the house on Sunday afternoon. I had to work really hard to keep Audrey from constantly running in and "checking on Daddy." In the last picture below, you'll see exactly what it looked like when Daddy tried to study in our bedroom on a Sunday afternoon! Welcome home, babe. We missed you.
