Summer?!?!

     I guess when you live in Phoenix, April is the beginning of summer.  So, yes, we are swimming in pools. Sunscreen every day.  Short sleeve or sleeveless tops work just fine.  Hats help.  Temps are rising.  I took Audrey and Claire to our community pool on Friday, and the water was perfect...
     Yesterday, we spent our afternoon outside.  Matt, the girls, the dogs, and I took a leisurely walk through our community.  The dogs ran, the girls played on the playground, Audrey and Buddy (our lab) chased birds in a grassy field.  We discovered a rose garden in bloom!  (It was beautiful.  Roses of all colors that smelled of summer days and pastries...).  After the walk, Matt grilled our dinner while Audrey splashed in our pool.  The dogs were hot enough that they joined in the swimming fun!  Buddy helped Audrey grab some of her pool sticks, too!  Summer, here we come!  (Or, we're already here!!)
