Oops...

That's what I'll title this post... Oops.  Oops because I've only gotten one post up in 2012 (so far). Oops because this post is about Christmas, and I already feel like Christmas is so far behind me.  So thank you for looking at a post about Christmas in February.  On Valentine's Day!  Sometimes life is like that.  And it is still good.

We celebrated Christmas in Arizona, and the girls were in a tizzy.  Wrapping themselves in the paper and spinning gloriously through the rooms playing with their new gifts... It was magnificent!  And God kept making it better.  Two days after Christmas, we packed up our bags and jetted off to Missouri to spend New Year's with my family (Gram and Pa, Aunts and Uncles, and cousins).  The days were spent with MORE Christmas presents, play time with cousins and puppies, and lots of laughter.  After the kids went to bed, the grown ups shared conversation, drank a glass of wine (or had a beer), and worked on our dance moves (thanks to the awesomeness that is "Just Dance 3"!!).  Matt and I had time to visit with some of our best friends.  And before we knew it, 2012 rolled in and my siblings began traveling home.  Matt returned to Arizona for work, but the girls and I lingered another week with my parents.  In early January, we snagged my mom and flew her back out to Arizona to enjoy the "winter" weather of the Southwest!  And before we knew it, the middle of January arrived.  Mom flew home, and we began our holiday "detox", just a bit later than most families we knew!
My incredible family in Missouri (above), and my incredible family in Arizona (below)!

I love both of these family pictures! It is so fun to see you with all your brothers, their wives, and their kids! Such a beautiful family. Jack and Bonnie must be so proud.
