Still Swimming!

          We were excited when, on April 1st, we were swimming in our pool.  And here we are at the end of September still swimming!  The water is beginning to cool, but as temperatures still reach 100 on most days, the pool is still refreshing.  Yes, the girls' lips turn blue faster.  And Claire really isn't as keen to swim now (she prefers warm water).  Nonetheless, we are still enjoying pool time!  Both girls can swim now (even Claire) thanks to an intensive summer of lessons.  I snapped these shots at the end of an afternoon of swimming.  The girls also love it when I fill the storage container with bubbles (it's like an outside bath!).  Soon, the weather will prevent us from swimming, but for now, our little mermaids are happily splashing their afternoons away!
