Halloween!

While Audrey just turned 2, this is actually her third Halloween.  When she was only five days old, Audrey was dressed as a pumpkin, and her daddy (a Samurai) took her to her first Halloween party.  Last year, Audrey and I were on a plane to meet Matt in Singapore over Halloween.  This year, Audrey helped me pick out her costume - a bumblebee.  On Halloween evening, she got dressed as a bumblebee and prepared to carry her pumpkin bucket through the neighborhood.  We practiced saying, "trick or treat," and we headed out the door.

We immediately crossed paths with our neighbors, Ben and Max.  The boys love it when Audrey visits, and they were more than happy to show her the ropes of trick or treating on Halloween. Ben and Max ushered Audrey from home to home, and she happily said "trick or treat" as candy was dropped in her bucket.  The main obstacles were keeping her from running inside other peoples homes, and trying to keep her from eating the candy (wrapper and all) each time it was put in her pumpkin bucket.  After walking the streets of our neighborhood, Audrey happily helped me hand out candy at home to other trick or treaters until she went to bed, happily exhausted.
