Easter

          Is Easter really already over?  This year is flying by.  Our Easter was fantastic.  The weekend before Easter, we had the chance to go to a spring festival on the air force base.  We met up with friends, hunted easter eggs, and played games.  The week of Easter, we decorated eggs and went to our neighborhood egg hunt.  On Easter morning, we read the story of Jesus's death and resurrection before doing our own egg hunt in our back yard.    Audrey and Claire loved hearing the stories about Jesus and how he has rescued each of us, and (of course) they loved hunting eggs in the yard, too!  We went to church with our neighbors and then enjoyed a fantastic Easter dinner at our neighbors' house.  We are so thankful for all that God is doing in our lives and for the people he brings into our lives to walk along side of us.  Most of all, we are thankful that Jesus gave up everything to rescue us and give us life!
